The Grady Management team visited the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless' main office on March 17 to drop off several completed "Welcome Home Kits" and supplies needed for those who find themselves without housing.
Grady team members worked the past month to compile items, such as cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, and toiletries, needed for the Welcome Home Kits. Overall, the Grady team put together two completed toiletry kits, one completed cleaning supply kit, and also collected other necessary items such as non-perishable food, storage bins and containers, and more.
The Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless, known as the MCCH, distributes the Welcome Home Kits to individuals recently placed in stable housing after they experienced homelessness. These kits are needed by individuals, who may only have a few personal items in their possession, to furnish and clean their home.
There are several ways for individuals and organizations to support the MCCH including donating, preparing and serving meals in the men's shelter, and collecting kits and other supplies. Learn more about ways to help on the official website.
The Grady team looks forward to future projects and collaborations with the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless.
