Grady Management team members dedicated themselves to ensuring local students received all of the school supplies they need for the upcoming 2018 - 2019 school year.
For several weeks, team members collected new school supplies to donate to Montgomery County Coalition of the Homeless, the Montgomery County Public School system, and the Prince George's County Public School system.
Team members collected more than 15 backpacks, more than 30 spiral notebooks and composition books, more than 30 packs of paper, more than 20 binders, and numerous other supplies such as pens, pencils, colored pencils gluesticks, erasers, and rulers to donate.
Continuing from last year, Grady Management team members donated school supplies to support Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless' annual Back to School Fair. The Back to School Fair took place on August 28 and assisted 300 formerly homeless children in receiving school supplies needed for a successful school year.
Grady Management team members also donated school supplies to MCPS and PGCPS. The school supplies donated to MCPS arrived at Gaithersburg Elementary School before the new school year. The supplies delivered to PGCPS will be dispersed to several schools before classes begin.
Several Grady managed communities also helped local students prepare for the new school year by hosting community Back to School Fairs for their residents. Belcrest Plaza, Montgomery Paint Branch, Preston Place, and Fox Hills North all hosted school supply giveaways for their residents.
These school supply drives are a component of Grady Gives, Grady Management's 2018 initiative to give back even more in the local community. Learn more about Grady Gives online.
