In an effort to give back to the local community, the Grady Management corporate team collected and donated canned and non-perishable food items to the Manna Food Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Throughout December, Grady Management team members filled several collection boxes with non-perishable food to help ensure that, during the holiday season, as many Montgomery County residents as possible have access to food items and meal supplies. On Tuesday, December 12, six boxes of donations were delivered to the Manna Food Center. These donations totaled 238 pounds and consisted of: more than 50 cans of soup, fruits, and vegetables, more than 20 boxes of cereal and oatmeal, more than 10 bags of beans, more than 10 bags of rice, more than 10 boxes of pasta, and more.
According to the official website, Manna Food Center's mission is to "eliminate hunger in Montgomery County." Manna provides food to five percent of all Montgomery County residents.
