Grady Management team members volunteered for the Property Management Association's Community Service Opportunity at the Stephen Knolls School in Kensington, Maryland on May 25.
In this second annual day of service, volunteers spent the day at Stephen Knolls School to complete various landscaping projects and repair tasks for the students and the school as a whole. This year, under the direction for the PMA Community Service Committee, volunteers assisted with several tasks and projects, including:
- Beautifying the school grounds by pulling weeds and planting fresh flowers.
- Replacing and cleaning the printed memorial bricks in the school's Memorial Garden.
- Renovating and repairing aspects of the school's green house.
Grady Management team members were eager to spend the day assisting with this service opportunity for the second consecutive year.
The Stephen Knolls School in the Montgomery County Public Schools district is a public day school that provides special education programs for students ranging in age from three to 21 years old. Besides for the service project, the PMA is also running a fundraiser for the school.
